Judge tapes, transcribed and turned into rehearsal
Adjudicators record from a phone. Drill3D transcribes the tape with the vocabulary of the activity, aligns every comment to the drill and gives staff a summary, a plan and answers before the critique.
A phone is the recorder
Record from any phone with a “show starts now” tap at step-off. Uploads resume if the stadium signal drops.
A transcript that knows the activity
Terms like phasing, cover-downs, box 5 and front hash are transcribed correctly, with timestamps that jump the audio and the drill viewer to the moment.
Every comment lands on a set
Comments are placed by count, so “the trumpets are late into 42” is attached to set 42 and the transition into it.
Summaries by section and caption
Strengths, improvements and section notes, organised the way staff meetings already run.
Ask the tape
Ask “what did they say about the guard in the ballad?” and get an answer with citations to the second, across one tape or the whole season.
Rehearsal plans and season trends
Time-boxed rehearsal blocks with sets to rep, and a view of what keeps coming up, what got fixed and what is new, with photographed score sheets alongside.
Private by default
Tapes are visible to staff unless a director shares them with section leaders or the ensemble. Student-facing digests are a deliberate choice, never the default.
